Our story
Ilum Kids was born from a simple belief: every child deserves to feel safe, supported and inspired while they learn and grow.
Today, Ilum Kids is a trusted childcare agency offering babysitting, private teachers, Baby English classes and children's event services across the Costa Blanca. Every member of our team is carefully selected not only for their experience, but for their kindness, patience and genuine passion for working with children.
Why Ilum Kids was created
After several years running a private childcare service in London, I saw first-hand how difficult it could be for families to find childcare professionals they could genuinely trust. Parents weren't just looking for someone to supervise their children — they wanted someone who would care for them, encourage them and create a positive environment where they could flourish.
When I moved to the Costa Blanca, I realised many international and local families were facing the same challenge. I wanted to create a service that combined professionalism, warmth and reliability, while offering much more than traditional babysitting.

Which areas do you cover?
We work across the Costa Blanca, including Albir, Altea, Benidorm, Calpe, Denia, Javea, Alicante and nearby towns. Message us if you do not see your area.
How do you select your team?
We interview each person, check their experience and request the Spanish Sexual Offences Certificate where required.
Can I speak to the person before booking?
Yes. For selected services we can arrange an introductory video call before confirmation.
How is a booking confirmed?
We send the details and quote. Your booking is confirmed when you accept the terms and pay any required deposit.
Is Baby English booked separately?
Yes. Baby English is booked only through its dedicated page, where live class times and spaces are shown.
